Each year, the Whiting School of Engineering holds an annual Design Day to highlight many of the innovative projects its students develop throughout the year. This day provides as a capstone experience for many WSE courses and degree programs, and celebrates the ingenuity of Hopkins’ students. It also provides a space for alumni and industry professionals to visit campus, network with current students, and learn more about research projects in progress at Hopkins.

While COVID-19 and the closure of the Homewood campus has resulted in many event cancellations or postponements, Whiting adapted by moving the event online, revealing the Design Day website on Tuesday, May 12. The site provides a platform for posters and prerecorded presentations from departments across the Whiting school.

You can now visit the Center for Leadership Education’s page on the Design Day website to review student projects from our Computer Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Clark Scholars Engineering Design, Innovation and Business Design, and the Leadership Studies Capstone courses.

Congratulations to our students for developing these innovative projects!
