Master of Science in Engineering Management
The MSEM program offers a balanced number of engineering technical track and management courses, positioning you to innovate technically while building your professional acumen. Immersion experiences and hands-on projects with our industry partners provide MSEM students the experience they need to succeed in creating their own venture or more quickly advancing into leadership roles in the public or private sectors.
Master of Science in Global Innovation and Leadership through Engineering
Primarily designed for students without engineering backgrounds, the MSIL program provides students with the technical and leadership skills they need to enter some of the most exciting and in-demand fields.
Professional Development Program
One-half of all doctoral degree holders in science, engineering or health fields work outside the academy. The PDP program is geared towards full-time graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at Johns Hopkins, providing them with the coursework in management, finance, and communications they need to enter any industry they choose.

MSEM Hospital Project - The Whiting School of Engineering partners with the Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research to bring together engineering talent and clinicians to analyze and recommend solutions for priority patient safety issues.
Immersion Experiences - Learn the skills necessary to work in and lead teams and communicate effectively with clients by immersing yourself in a consulting project whose outcome will have a profound impact on lives and businesses. The MSEM immersion program includes intersession travel opportunities to Denmark, Israel, Portugal, and Spain, as well as a stateside program in Maryland.
