Congratulations to Center for Leadership Education (CLE) student and graduating senior Simon Osipov for his selection as the recipient of the Dean of Student Life Achievement Award!
During his time at Johns Hopkins University, Osipov has served as the president of the Marshall L. Salant Student Investment Team and as the portfolio manager for the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. He has also worked as a course assistant for various CLE classes, as a research assistant for the Institute of Applied Economics and as a finance recruiting assistant for the Career Center. Through his work on campus, Osipov has helped to significantly strengthen the student finance community. His most recent project was helping to create the Student Finance Networking Reception, which drew over 100 attendees earlier this month.
“While many students deserve this award, few faculty members feel the need to recognize their students. The CLE is focused on the development of their students more than any other department I have been a part of, and I have been lucky to be a part of the CLE and to work for [CLE Senior Lecturer] Annette Leps these last four years,” Osipov said. “More than just this award, I am very appreciative for the opportunities and the experiences the CLE has provided for me that have shaped my college and professional career.”
The CLE wishes you luck in all your post-graduate pursuits!
