Tiffany T. Sanchez is a senior lecturer in the Center for Leadership Education’s Leadership Studies Program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English literature and German language from the University of New Mexico, her master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University, and her EdD from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody School of Education, where she studied how engagement impacts workforce development in urban “college towns.”

Sanchez has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, including women’s education and leadership, social justice and advocacy, LGBTQ identity and leadership, program development and assessment, strategic planning, and leading through change. She has worked extensively with non-profit organizations, including Youth for Understanding International Exchange, the Baltimore Collegetown Network, and the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
