Marina Choy is a lecturer in the Center for Leadership Education’s Professional Communication Program. She has been teaching writing and communication courses in STEM-focused environments for several years and has given seminars and workshops on academic and scientific writing, technical communication, and public speaking for undergraduate and graduate students. Choy previously managed the Writing and Communication Lab at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Her background is in rhetoric, critical communication studies, and cultural studies. Choy earned a bachelor’s and master’s from the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès, and a PhD in Rhetoric, Theory, and Culture from Michigan Technological University in 2022.
