Illysa Izenberg has taught graduate students since 2006 and undergraduates since 2010. Currently, she teaches Engineering Business & Management, Leadership & Management in the Material Sciences, Management Theory and Practice, and Business Ethics. She has over 26 years of business experience, 6 in “Corporate America” and the rest in strategy and management consulting and coaching. As a business consultant, Illysa helped leaders and managers communicate effectively, coach employees for sustained superior performance, work productively in face-to-face and virtual teams, overcome conflict, and manage projects. Illysa is a volunteer on the APL Federal Credit Union board. In 2016, she was awarded the JHU Alumni Association Excellence in Teaching Award and in 2020, the Pond Excellence in Teaching Award.
