Tech Transfer
The Johns Hopkins Technology Transfer Office (JHTT) is the University’s intellectual property administration center, serving Johns Hopkins researchers and inventors as a licensing, patent, and technology commercialization office and acting as an active liaison to parties interested in leveraging JHU research or materials for academic or corporate endeavors.
Emerging Technology Center at JHU Eastern
Housing several ventures started by JHU alum, the ETC is a technology business incubator located in Baltimore. They assist with business planning, market assessments, technology assessments, funding preparation, product roll-out and many other elements of an early stage company’s development. Their mentoring and coaching services are provided by a combination of in-house staff, volunteer members of the Baltimore business community and outside service providers. The next steps in the process for interested entrepreneurs are as follows:
- Schedule a meeting to tour an ETC facility and to meet the ETC professional staff.
