Multidisciplinary Engineering Design students setting up rainwater collection system
A team of students in the course Multidisciplinary Engineering Design set up their prototype of a rainwater collection system outside of Wyman Park Building.

A team of students in Alissa Burkholder Murphy’s Multidisciplinary Engineering Design course is developing a modular rainwater collection, storage, and distribution system that they will test on the Homewood Campus and then replicate at Baltimore K-12 school gardens to teach students about water conservation innovations. This project is supported by the Campus as a Living Lab grant awarded by the JHU Office of Sustainability.
