The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) hosted its annual conference on June 16-19 in Tampa, Florida. CLE Senior Lecturers William Smedick and Eric Rice led a half-day, pre-conference session at the conference titled “Tools for Creating and Managing Student Teams.”
The session highlighted how the Center for Leadership Education provides engineering students with the professional skills to succeed in team-based projects during their careers post-graduation.
The session was sponsored by the Engineering Management group of ASEE. Professors Smedick and Rice are pictured here with Susan Furterer, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Engineering Management, Systems and Technology at the University of Dayton and ASEE Program Chair for Engineering Management.
