The 24th annual HopStart: Hopkins New Venture Challenge took place on Friday, April 26 at the Inn at the Colonnade. Fifty-one teams, 209 students, and 21 judges participated in the event. Undergraduate and graduate students from the Carey School of Business, the Bloomberg School of Public Health, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, The Peabody Institute, and the Whiting School of Engineering were represented in this year’s competitors and prize winners, who took home HopStart awards totaling $36,000. The Pava Center for Entrepreneurship, A-Level Capital, and HopStone Capital provided additional awards totaling $9,000. Kelly Schulz, CEO of the Maryland Tech Council, delivered the Keynote Address at the awards ceremony. A full list of winners is below.
