Nusaybah Abu-Mulaweh is a lecturer in the Center for Leadership Education. Abu-Mulaweh previously taught in the EPICS Program, a large multidisciplinary community-engagement design program at Purdue University. She mentored multidisciplinary teams who worked with community partners through a human-centered design process. She has a technical background in electrical and computer engineering and a doctorate in engineering education that focused on advancing how engineers design concepts and products that are both innovative and aligned to actual needs through empathic formation.

Abu-Mulaweh earned a BS in computer engineering, an MS in electrical and computer engineering, and her PhD in engineering education from Purdue University.
