Mary Clare Coghlan is a lecturer with the Center for Leadership Education, teaching Leadership Theory and Leading Teams. As a current director of recruitment and development in the financial industry, she oversees the on-boarding and growth of new entrepreneurs in the firm. She spent 6 years of active duty service at The United States Naval Academy as part of the physical mission team and was assistant coach to the Navy Women’s Volleyball team, recruiting and mentoring Division I athletes and future Naval Officers. Coghlan combines her personal journey of collegiate and professional athletic teams with professional experience of leading and developing business owners, military officers and athletes to help Hopkins students carve a unique path on current and future teams. She is involved in multiple organizations to help veterans, Baltimore youth, and animals.
