Peter Franchot, Comptroller of Maryland, recently paid a visit to Charles Village to promote his Shop Maryland for the Holidays initiative. The outing included visits to Bird in Hand and the Charles Village Pub, recently reopened after a fire, where Franchot delivered a proclamation.
