With the help of the WSE alumni and the WSE departments, the Whiting School of Engineering has established the WSE Undergraduate Conference Travel Fund to provide financial assistance of up to $800.00 for current, full-time undergraduate students traveling for approved conferences. The financial assistance should be used for the conference registration fee, airfare, lodging, anticipated meals and other fees. Please note: all travel arrangements will be made by the WSE Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office.
To be considered for funding, you will need to meet with a faculty sponsor to discuss the conference and apply. A link will be provided to your faculty sponsor for his/her recommendation. Please submit this application two months (or earlier) prior to the conference date. Applications are reviewed six times a year. Decisions are typically made within a two-week time period of each deadline.

Please note:
- An email will be sent to you about the decision.
- If your application is approved, please be aware that you will need to provide a 300-500 word reflection (feel free to include pictures or a 60 second video) of your experience.
- You may receive this funding once in a twelve month period. Priority will be given to those who have not applied previously.
- Student organizations traveling to conferences are ineligible for the WSE Undergraduate Conference Travel Fund.
