Eugenia Volkova, PhD candidate in the Gerecht Lab, has been awarded an Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) Graduate Fellowship.
Volkova studies how the physical properties of ECM-mimicking hydrogels contribute to changes in sarcoma cell migration phenotype. She is an INBT T32 Nanotechnology for Cancer Research Fellow.
APL Graduate Fellowships are available to Johns Hopkins graduate students with research interests in science and engineering topics being investigated at APL.
