Postdoctoral fellow Kimberly Stroka wins the Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Award from the Biomedical Engineering Society

The department would like to congratulate Dr. Kimberly M. Stroka, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Konstantopoulos lab, on winning the Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Award from the Biomedical Engineering Society.

Winners receive a crystal award, a complimentary registration to the Biomedical Engineering Society’s annual meeting, a $1,000.00 check, a (up to) $1,000.00 travel expense reimbursement, and the opportunity to present a 20-minute Rita Schaffer Young Investigator Lecture. The text of the lecture will be published in the Annals of Biomedical Engineering.
