We are proud to announce that ChemeBE faculty member, Dr. Jamie is a recipient of NSF’s “most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty… [serving] as academic role models in research and education and to lead advances in the mission of their department or organization.” Her CAREER project is titled “Engineered multi-specific antibodies to interrogate and manipulate immune checkpoint protein trafficking.” It focuses on designing new molecules to probe the biology of cell membrane proteins that can, in turn, be used to develop new immunotherapies for applications including cancer and infectious diseases.
