A team of Johns Hopkins undergraduates from the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and the Department of Chemistry earned high honors in the “ChemE Jeopardy” competition at the 2019 AIChE Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference.

Christopher Lin, Juan Sanfield, James Wilcox, and Christopher Domalewski took first place in the competition, which tests students’ knowledge of undergraduate chemical engineering coursework.

The team emerged as the champion school this year for the Mid-Atlantic region and will move on to the annual national competition in Florida this November. A second team from the Johns Hopkins Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering placed fourth in the same competition.
