Gregg Duncan (PhD ’14, Michael Bevan Lab), now a faculty member in the Department of Bioegnineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, recently received the NSF Career Award. His awarded project is about building quantitative tools to support the development and rational design of gene therapies using natural and novel bioengineered viruses. The grant also supports a new summer research internship program for Baltimore City school teachers.
