Johns Hopkins University’s engineering graduate programs are again among the nation’s best, according to U.S. News & World Report‘s annual Best Graduate Schools rankings.

The chemical and biomolecular engineering program tied for the No. 19 spot. The Whiting school ranked No. 14 for engineering graduate programs overall, moving up two spots this year.

The graduate engineering school rankings, released today, are determined by a number of factors, including a school’s research expenditures, faculty productivity, admitted student information, and its reputation among peers and the employers who hire its graduates. Specialty rankings are based on leadership feedback from peer schools and program and are influenced by multiple factors, including an institution’s global and national reputation, publications and citations, research statistics, and other factors.
