The Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award conferred by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) is a competitive research award to provide seed money for junior faculty members. Out of the 155 applicants, there were 41 awardees including Brandon Bukowski who will use the funding to investigate how polar environments in nanoporous zeolites affect catalytic transformations to sustainable fuels and chemicals.
