ChemBE Alumna Elizabeth Nance Wins Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers AWARD

We are delighted to hear that our ChemBE Hopkins alumna, Elizabeth Nance (Asst. Prof. at Univ. of Washington) was named as a winner of a prestigious PECASE award. Elizabeth will receive this award at the White House for her “exceptional potential for leadership at the frontiers of scientific knowledge” to allow her to continue to undertake “innovative and far-reaching developments in science and technology.” Congratulations from your Hopkins family.

UW students in Professor Elizabeth Nance’s Lab in Benson Hall using nanotechnology based platforms (polymer, dendrimer, quantum dot) to understand transport limitations at the macro- and micro-scale in the central nervous system.
