During PhD visit weekend, current Johns Hopkins PhD candidates displayed their posters in a joint session and the visiting prospective students selected top presenters via survey. The winners, who received $100, are:

  • Kireeti Akkunuri (Vo Lab): “Theory and computational modeling of soft and polymeric materials”
  • Alice Amitrano (Konstantopoulos Lab): “Cancer cells migration in physiologically relevant environments”
  • Nico Macaluso (Phillip Lab, BME): “Biophysical properties encode functional subtypes of cellular senescence in human dermal fibroblasts”
  • Bradley Priem and Justin Sargunas (Betenbaugh Lab): “Industrial applications of cellular, metabolic, and biochemical engineering”
