Current PhD student Angela Jimenez of the Wirtz lab was selected to attend the 2014 Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany. After a thorough application process, she was selected as one of the 600 young scientists in attendance to share knowledge and network with fellow researchers and over thirty Nobel laureates.
Additionally, Angela has won an Achievement Reward for College Scientists (ARCS) Fellowship for her work on the physics of cancer. We congratulate Angela on these successes!
