We are pleased to share with you the news that Marc Ostermeier, a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, has been elected a 2021 fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in the Biological Sciences Section.
This honor recognizes diverse accomplishments, including pioneering research, leadership within a given field, teaching and mentoring, fostering collaborations, and advancing public understanding of science. Marc was elected fellow for his outstanding contributions to the principles of natural evolution, protein engineering, directed evolution, and protein evolution
