Qi Huang, a member of Professor David Gracias’ lab, received the AIChE’s top graduate student award in the area of carbon nanomaterials for his talk, “Stimuli Responsive Self-Folding 3D Graphene Architectures.” He delivered the talk at the Nanoscale Science & Engineering Forum (NSEF) at the AIChE’s 2021 annual meeting.
“My work suggests a comprehensive framework for the rational design and scalable fabrication of complex 3D self-actuating optical and electronic devices through the folding of 2D monolayer graphene,” says Huang.
