Asst. Prof. Elizabeth Nance, who received her PhD in Justin Hanes’s lab at Johns Hopkins in 2012, recently received one of two junior faculty awards at the University of Washington where she is the Clare Boothe Luce assistant professor of chemical engineering.

This prestigious award reflects her excellence in research and education and a strong commitment to supporting her students. In addition, this award requires her efforts to contribute to the “expansion of our knowledge of disease-directed engineering and nanomedicine and to have a positive impact on improving education in chemical and biomolecular engineering.” Congratulations on this important award!
