Electrical and computer engineers are the creators of many things taken for granted in our daily lives, from desktop computers to GPS systems and cell phones. At Johns Hopkins, students learn the fundamentals of electrical, computer and digital systems, data structures, and circuits, with an emphasis on hands-on experience to complement the theoretical.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers the following degree options for students interested in pursuing their undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.
The BS degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering are accredited by the Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
Students should be aware that the BA degree program is not accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
