Charbel Rizk is not currently teaching during the 2021-22 academic year.
Charbel Rizk is an associate research professor and lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as a consultant for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL).
Rizk’s research interests focus on integrated system-on-chip sensors, integrated photonics, controls, autonomous systems, UAV platforms, and sensors, as well as biomimetic devices for medical applications.
He has worked previously as principal staff, systems/lead engineer, S&T advisor, innovation lead, and member of the Innovation Steering Group for the Air and Missile Defense Sector at APL.
Rizk earned his PhD in 1997 from Florida Atlantic University. He is a senior member of IEEE, AIAA, and a member of AUVSI and OSA.
