AIMBE is a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., representing the most accomplished individuals in the fields of medical and biological engineering. AIMBE’s mission is to provide leadership and advocacy in medical and biological engineering for the benefit of society.
Gerecht was recognized for outstanding contributions to bioengineering studies in stem cell biology, vasculogenesis and cancer.
She will be inducted formally during a ceremony to be held during AIMBE’s 25th Annual Meeting at the National Academy of Sciences Great Hall in Washington, DC on April 4, 2016.
