Tza-Huei (Jeff) Wang is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Whiting School of Engineering. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Wang’s primary research focus is on the development of new technologies and methods for molecular analysis of diseases and biomedical research via advances in micro- and nano-scale sciences.
He holds 15 patents and has authored more than 90 articles. Wang was inducted as an AIMBE Fellow in 2016.
Wang holds a BS and MS from National Taiwan University, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
