Kwame Kutten is a senior lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. He provides daily support for students in quantitative classes within the department and directs the Whiting School of Engineering’s Gateway Computing courses. His research combines biomedical imaging and computational methods to study how brain structure and connections change in disorder and disease.

He received a bachelor’s from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2009 and a PhD at Johns Hopkins University in 2017—both in biomedical engineering.
