Do you have what it takes to make critical contributions to the nation’s most critical challenges?
The Master’s Scholars program is a unique collaboration between the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), the nation’s largest university-affiliated research center. This initiative offers exceptional students in participating master’s programs an advance opportunity to be considered for a paid research experience in summer 2027 at APL, where the nation’s top scientists and engineers are developing critical technologies and capabilities that serve national priorities and expand the frontiers of science from deep sea to deep space.
Because participants must obtain a security clearance, U.S. citizenship is required for participation.
