Jin Kang, a Jacob Suter Jammer Professor and former ECE Department Chair, recently received the Cohen Translational Engineering Award.
The award functions as a six-month grant, with the funding going towards the translation of “Fiber Optic Distal Sensor Controlled Drug Injector” with the specific application for intraretinal cell transplant procedures using handheld robotic surgical tool guided by fiber-optic optical coherence tomography sensor.
