Daniel Mendat is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests include neuromorphic systems, unconventional parallel processing architectures, machine learning, embedded systems, and acoustic processing.

Mendat earned his PhD and master’s in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department from Johns Hopkins University in 2017 and 2011, respectively. He also received his bachelor’s in electrical and computer engineering with a double major in computer science from Rutgers University in 2010.
