Two faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering have received 2026 Excellence in Teaching, Advising, and Mentoring Awards from the Whiting School of Engineering, recognizing their commitment to student learning, mentorship, and academic leadership.
Tinoosh Mohsenin, associate professor, received a WSE Excellence in Mentoring and Advising Award. The award recognizes faculty who provide exceptional guidance and support to students and researchers.
Sathappan Ramesh, lecturer, received a WSE Excellence in Teaching Award. The award honors instructors who actively engage students, foster inclusive learning environments, and make a lasting impact in the classroom.
In a message to the Whiting School community, Dean Ed Schlesinger congratulated this year’s recipients and recognized their contributions to the school’s mission of advancing engineering education and supporting student success.
