Electrical and Computer Engineering professor, Brint Cooper, will serve on the National Academies Panel on Review of In-house Laboratory Independent Research (ILIR) in Network Sciences at the Army’s Research, Development, and Engineering Centers (RDECs). This panel of experts will independently assess the quality of foundational research projects conducted at the RDECs and will contribute to the National Academies report summarizing the panel’s findings.

The report will be delivered to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology, Congressional offices, and selected Department of Defense (DoD) offices and will be posted on the website of the National Academies Press. The National Academies consist of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), the National Academy of Engineering (NAE), and the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
