Carolina Parada, PhD ’11, has been inducted into the National Association of Professional Women’s (NAPW) VIP Woman of the Year Circle for 2015-2016. She was recognized for her leadership in research engineering.
“I’m pleased to recognize Carolina with this important honor,” said NAPW President Star Jones in a press release. “Her perseverance, work ethic and leadership qualities are an inspiration to all women.”
Parada is currently a Staff Research Scientist at Google. She has been involved with the “Okay Google” project, and she currently focuses on device speech recognition and voice control.
