Hard work with passion and enthusiasm will earn you a good place in this world, no matter where it is or what you are doing. The department fosters a fantastic relationship between students, faculty and staff. Department graduate courses are usually tailored to the needs and interests of individual students, and are directly related to research.
Research is my main focus and I have been able to work in a lab that has varying projects going on. I am interested in biomedical applications such as microelectronic systems for processing sensory information (visual, auditory, etc.) and interfacing it with humans. Thanks to projects like this, we have the fortune to work with top-notch professionals from the Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital, which is truly enriching from both personal and professional perspectives.
