Master’s Home to Hopkins Option (Pre-Fall Semester Opportunity)

Do you want to get a jumpstart on your JHU degree before coming to campus? Students admitted to a full-time, residential master’s program in CaSE are eligible to begin their studies early—before arriving on campus—through our Home to Hopkins option.

Enroll in one online course from our nationally ranked Engineering for Professionals (EP) program during the summer term. If completed successfully, this course will count toward your degree and can help you:

  • Reduce your total residential courses to 7
  • Finish your degree in just one year
  • Lower your overall tuition and time on campus

You will pay only the standard per-course tuition for summer online course—no extra program fees.

Accept your offer, take 1 EP summer class, and start strong this fall!
