Program Details

  • Academic Excellence: GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of application and at graduation.
  • Credit Transfer: Students may transfer up to 6 eligible credits taken during their BS toward the MSE degree. Eligibility Requirements for Transfer Courses are
    • Courses must be graduate-level, Engineering courses, taken at an accredited U.S. institution.
    • A grade of B- or higher is required for transfer courses.
    • Courses must not have been applied toward your undergraduate degree requirements.
    • Up to 2 courses (or 6 credits) can be transferred.
    • Credit transfer is finalized by the JHU Mechanical Engineering Graduate Committee once you are admitted into the program

  1. Transfer 2 eligible courses from BSE
  2. Take two graduate courses in the Summer preceding on-campus arrival through JHU’s EP program (https:\\ep.jhu.edu)
  3. Take 3 courses in Fall
  4. Take 3 courses in Spring
  5. Graduate at the end of Spring.
