
The title of MRS Fellow honors MRS members who are notable for their distinguished research accomplishments and their outstanding contributions to the advancement of materials research worldwide.
Nagahara was recognized for “leadership and service that stimulated involvement by the materials community in biomedical applications and for pioneering contributions to nanosensors, molecular electronics, and scanning probe microscopy.”
He and other new Fellows will be honored in April at the Materials Research Society’s Spring Meeting and Exhibit in Phoenix, Arizona.
