Ashutosh Dutta 2022 receives the IEEE-USA George F. McClure Citation of Honor, holding a citation while posing with IEEE officials.

Ashutosh Dutta, chair of the Johns Hopkins Engineering for Professionals program in electrical and computer engineering, a senior scientist and chief 5G strategist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and a member of JHU’s Institute for Assured Autonomy, has been named a 2022 recipient of the IEEE-USA George F. McClure Citation of Honor.

He received the honor “for distinguished leadership in the development of the International Network Generations Roadmap and bridging the gap between academia and industry.”

Dutta is a highly accomplished electrical engineer and computer scientist with expertise in the areas of computer communication, wireless networking, LTE networks, network function virtualization (NFV), and mobility management. He was named a Fellow of the IEEE in 2020.
