Gregory Wiedman, a graduate student researcher in the research lab of Professor Kalina Hristova (the Marlin U. Zimmerman Jr. Faculty Scholar), is developing a drug delivery system based on a toxin found in honeybee venom. The toxin would be used to fight tumor cells.
