Ma, Evan - 050815In the June 2015 issue of Nature Materials, Evan Ma, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, explores the “the recently uncovered variety of local atomic environments…on the long-existing but vague picture of ‘solid-like’ and liquid-like’ regions” in metallic glasses and the ways in which “these structural inhomogeneities may be tuned in a controllable manner.”
