We are pleased to announce that Professor Judy Mitrani-Reiser will be a part of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER), Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), and Geotechnical Extreme Events Reconnaissance (GEER) Association reconnaissance briefing of observations on the April 25, 2015 Gorkha (Nepal) Earthquake.

Professor Mitrani-Reiser, an Assistant Professor with interests in structural dynamics and earthquake engineering, will speak about critical care facilities and how the earthquake affected them. Mitrani-Reiser is also a member of the Systems Institute, where her research helps to shed light on areas such as assessment of critical infrastructure, disaster planning, and human interaction with the built environment.
