Congratulations to senior Mark Strapko, who has been chosen to receive a $10,000 Thornton Tomasetti Foundation National 2016-2017 Scholarship! The Thornton Tomasetti Foundation received submittals from 13 universities and Strapko was selected by a panel of jurors due to his exceptional academic success and demonstrated interest in the integration of engineering and architecture.
He will remain at Johns Hopkins University to pursue his masters degree, and this scholarship will be applied to his fall tuition.
Since 2008, the Thornton Tomasetti Foundation has funded more than $690,000 in grants and fellowships, scholarships and internships for undergraduate students, and those planning to pursue graduate studies in building engineering, design or technology.
