Many thanks to the CE students who volunteered for the Maryland Wood Bridge Challenge on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Baltimore Museum of Industry!
Karl Ehlert ’19, Isabel Siordia ’20, Kayla Ostrow ’21 and Cassidy Manning ’21 helped manage logistics for participating high-school students, whose task was to design a structurally efficient bridge to hold the maximum load before breaking.
First and second place winners from this competition are eligible to participate in the Forty-Second International Bridge Building Challenge to be held on April 6, 2019 on JHU’s Homewood Campus.
