Lori Graham-Brady, professor and chair of the Department of Civil Engineering, was recently named a Fellow for the United States Association for Computational Mechanics (USACM). Graham-Brady received her award at the 15th U.S. National Congress on Computational Mechanics held in Austin, Texas on July 29.

Graham-Brady was recognized for her outstanding research contributions in the field of multi-scale modeling of materials with random microstructure; dynamic failure of brittle materials and stochastic computational mechanics and for her leadership roles in academia.
