Congratulations to Prof. Sauleh Siddiqui, who, as part of a cross-divisional team, recently received a Johns Hopkins Discovery Award.

Prof. Siddiqui joins team members Anthony So (BSPH), Roni Neff (BSPH), Keeve Nachman (BSPH), Chris Heaney (BSPH), Meghan Davis (BSPH), Anton Korinek (KSAS), Karen Carroll (SOM), Trish Perl (SOM), Jessica Fanzo (SAIS/BIB) in researching a systems framework for the societal costs of antimicrobial resistance & use in global food animal production.

With these awards, teams will pursue innovative partnerships on collaborative research projects that bridge dozens of fields. In total, the 24 teams who received awards this year are composed of 84 faculty members and research scientists who span across 10 Johns Hopkins schools and divisions.

“We are once again inspired by the creative and collaborative proposals received from throughout our university,” says Ronald J. Daniels, president of Johns Hopkins University. “These awards provide our faculty the resources to develop interdisciplinary research programs and knit together expertise across Johns Hopkins to pursue novel research questions in a daunting funding environment.”
